This client requested a larger area for outdoor entertaining while incorporating a water feature and a designated area for a Big Green Egg BBQ pit. By working closely with the client, we were able to develop a solution that incorporated a traditional southern flare using natural slate paving and old St. Louis brickwork. The new expansion provides ample outdoor entertaining space while showcasing a beautiful custom fountain on axis with French doors leading out of the living room. The fountain is a perfect focal point whether viewed from indoors or out. The landscaped area beside the patio acts as a formal transition between the slate patio and the remaining open yard space. We were able to address all aspects of the project from initial development, grade work, drainage and irrigation, to concrete construction, landscape lighting and the custom brickwork. A project of this nature can range from $30,000 to $50,000 depending upon the type and quantity of utilized materials.
