This project required a landscape solution to complement the existing pool and blue stone paving. The primary feature was the oversized arbor, which acts as a “gateway” when approaching the pool from the driveway. The bubbling sugar kettle draws visitors in from the driveway and demands attention before focusing on the arbor and pool. The hollies around the fireplace provide a cozy enclosure, allowing a greater sense of privacy from the rest of the yard. The plant materials for this project were chosen to accent the Acadian style home. The construction elements for this project included drainage, irrigation, grade work, sod installation and carpentry. A project of this nature can range between $20,000 to $30,000 depending upon the type and quantity of utilized materials.
